It is no secret that tarot and oracle has become an important part of my life. For me, it is a tool for introspection and to stimulate my subconscious mind. Sometimes I find that it’s incredible for helping me think about things in a different way… and it’s especially wonderful for storytelling.
It seemed like a no-brainer that this world could and should collide with my artistic world. This merging first began last year when Kiala invited me to be a guest teacher in Pull Pen Paint. I was overjoyed, I had been keeping a tarot journal but I had not yet used the cards as a launch point for any artistic endeavors. In that class, I came up with an artistic spread that I could use to inspire an art piece.
I loved the participation in Pull Pen Paint this year not only for my own personal growth and the excitement that came with creating my lesson – but also because of the other incredible teachers that were involved. There is a lot to learn in this class! So naturally, when Kiala invited me back for Pull Pen Paint 2018 it was a HUGE RESOUNDING YES!
Pull Pen Paint is extra awesome because it’s created for all skill levels. You don’t have to call yourself an artist to participate, you don’t have to be a master of tarot. You can jump in where you are at right now. It is designed for all types of journal keepers, and even if you’ve never used a tarot or oracle deck before – you can do this! The course features video tutorials, live video sessions, tutorials on handmade journals, inspirational prompts, private facebook group, virtual study and art sessions, and as always – a lot of love and encouragement.
